These boots are amazing- very comfortable, rugged and stylish. Construction quality is like nothing I've ever seen. I wore them for 2 days and they felt perfectly broken in. I purchased one size smaller even though I have consistent size 9 feet that are in between narrow and medium/B. It was a hard bill to swallow, but I am glad I finally splurged on a boot I might just have for the rest of my life.
When I received these, they had a white film/wax/polish that was kind of bizarre and had a strong smell. That has since worn off.
I usually wear a 7.5 and have a fairly narrow foot, medium ankle and medium calves. I ended up with a size 8, and they fit quite well. I added a shearling foot bed and they are very comfortable! I have other Frye boots and these are definitely among my favorites. Only had them a month so no issues so far as others have reported.

I just purchased these boots in the saddle color. They are fantastic! They are a beautiful camel color - the picture is pretty accurate as far as color goes. They are comfy and look great over skinny jeans. I've gotten tons of compliments. I think they run a little big and there is quite a bit of room in the calf, but I think that looks good with jeans. They are expensive, but Frye boots are the best and this is such a classic style!
These are my first pair of Frye's and I LOVE them! I ordered them in gray and couldn't be happier. I also found that Amazon had the best price on these boots. One thing to note that didn't show up in the picture, is the toe area is a little darker. I'm not unhappy with it, but if you are spending this much on boots you want to know every detail! I did order a 1/2 size smaller and they fit perfect. I am surprised at how comfortable they are, I didn't even have to break them in. I am 5'6" and these boots come up right below the knee. There is plenty of room in the calf and love the look of these boots with my skinny jeans. Yay, Frye! Thanks for such a timeless style. :) I am already plotting my next purchase!
I've had these boots in tan for a couple of months now and I really like them. I'm 5'10'' and skinny, so I have narrow feet and calves. These boots are fitted enough that I can wear them with skirts and it doesn't look awkward, but they are a little wide (noticeably) in the foot and the ankle. Definitely weather-proof them, because the leather stains easily.
